Gem City Action is fiscally sponsored by Ohio Voice!
Fiscal sponsorship refers to a relationship where a nonprofit organization (Ohio Voice) offers its legal and tax-exempt status to a group that does not have its own tax exempt status (Gem City Action).
This means that we are not yet our own 501(c)(3) nonprofit, but we’re allowed to receive grants and tax-deductible donations under the Ohio Voice umbrella as we continue to grow! This relationship opens up possibilities in terms of new resources and funding and we are so incredibly excited and grateful for this opportunity!!!
